Hi y’all,

I just stepped on the scale (at night, which is not one of my brightest ideas) and it scared the shit out of me! Pardon my French, but according to the scale I now weigh 103 kilograms! Last time I weighed myself the number I saw was 98,8. There is no need to say I am not behaving too well, I need to step up my game. I have been eating too many ice creams and chocolate treats and it needs to stop right now. So, I came up with a summer challenge that will help me to reach a lower weight.

The plan

  • Eat clean
  • Prepare a weekly menu every single Sunday, before the next week begins
  • Mealprep
  • Track points with the Weight Watchers ProPoints system
  • Workout at least 3 times a week
  • Quit drinking Diet Coke

  • Start weight: no idea, I hope less than 103 kilograms. Check back tomorrow to find out!

I know I can do this but I have been cutting myself way too much slack lately. If I want to reach my goal weight I need to act now! You’ve all seen my progress pictures and know how unhappy I still am with how I look. But that’s going to change. Starting tomorrow…. (oops!)

Getting back on track

Hi y’all,

Writing a post on how you screwed up the last few weeks (and months) isn’t exactly easy. I have no idea where to start so… let’s just begin, shall we?

The last few weeks have been real hard on me emotionally speaking. And when I am dealing with some type of strong emotion I tend to eat it away. Though I have already lost over 20 kg’s, I am still struggeling with this on a daily basis. Truth to be told, I don’t think it will ever go away. It doesn’t matter how much weight I will lose, it’s about how I feel on the inside. And I need to get back on track nów so I will believe in myself again and present myself with pride.

What’s the plan?

The most important thing right now is that I don’t go overboard. I am not going to be able to do Insanity every single day. It’s just not going to happen. I need to take it slow so I will feel enthusiastic again and actually stick with it.

For the last two weeks of June I have set the following goals:

  • Stick to the Weight Watchers program
  • Work on the blog when I feel the need to eat
  • Work-out six times
  • Lose 2 kg’s or more (in other words: weigh 98,1 kg’s or less)

Of course I will update you on my progress through-out the upcoming two weeks. I hope to get back in touch with my enthusiasm so I can kick butt this summer!

Weight loss goals – May 2013

Hi y’all,

I am a little late with this post but I guess Dewey’s Read-a-Thon is a pretty damn good excuse for that! Even though I slept a couple of hours during the Read-a-Thon, I’ve been exhausted throughout the entire week! I really needed a few days to re-energize and get back on track.

My weight loss journey started on June 13th 2012. I decided to lose the weight by using Weight Watchers. For a couple of weeks I could say that I’ve lost 23,1 kg but due to a few lazy weeks I’ve gained a little bit of the weight back. But, I’ve managed to lose some of it again and I now weigh 99,1 kg. Which means I’ve lost 21,9 kg in total! I am still proud of it, can’t help it.

But I need to refocus and lose weight every single week so I can reach my goal weight in a much quicker pace. I am going to study nutrition and dietetics in The Hague to become a dietitian. So, as you can understand I am under a little bit of stress. I don’t want to be the fat girl on the course. Even though I’ve lost so many pounds already, I don’t think I will be taken seriously if I am still obese. My goal is to weigh 85 kg or less on the 1st of September 2013, so let’s get to it!

Here’s my plan for May:

  • Weigh 96 kg or less on June 1st
  • Stick to the Weight Watchers program every single day of the month
  • Drink 1,5 liter of water every single day
  • Eat clean 15 days of the month
  • Go 10 days without Diet Coke or any other sugared drinks
  • Try out 5 new recipes
  • Meal prep twice this month (Weight Watchers Tagliatelle Bolognese and noodles with chicken, vegetables, soy sauce and ketjap)
  • Workout 16 times:
